#FollowFriday: Official BBC Class

Friday. It seems almost like a weekly event. Quite coincidentally, so does #FollowFriday, the DWC’s chance to explore Twitter and recommend wonderful accounts for Doctor Who fans to follow.

After the announcement of its air date, this week’s #FollowFriday is for the official Class feed!

It seems right, in the run-up to the first series, to get caught up in all the enthusiasm. We’ve certainly been excited by the brief details that have eked out, including the names of its core cast – Charlie (Greg Austin), April (Sophie Hopkins), Ram (Fady Elsayed), Tanya (Vivian Oparah), and Physics teacher, Miss Quill (Katherine Kelly) – and of course the fact that Peter Capaldi, the Twelfth Doctor himself, will star in its first episode.

Naturally, the DWC will deliver ample helpings of Class news, but if you want even more, the spin-off show’s Twitter feed is a must follow.

We think its number of followers increased last week when some of its cast and crew answered viewers’ questions as part of a Live Stream.

If you’re not into Facebook, Snapchat might just be your thing…

Nice moves, Sophie, but I think we all know the Drunk Giraffe is a superior dance.

Followers will also get the chance to see teasing videos.

Class begins on BBC Three on 22nd October.
