What Did You Think of The Return of Doctor Mysterio?

It’s Christmas, and that means only one thing: Doctor Who! (Okay, it actually means a whole lot more than that, but for the purposes of this exercise, just roll with it, yeah?)

It’s been a long 12 months. With no Doctor Who – aside from Big Finish, novels, non-fiction books, our own Christmas fiction, other audio adventures… No Doctor Who on TV. Unless you class Class – see what I did there? What I mean is, it’s been 12 whole months since The Husbands of River Song.

But now, the Twelfth Doctor (Peter Capaldi) is back, accompanied by Nardole (Matt Lucas) for The Return of Doctor Mysterio.

Also starring Charity Wakefield as Lucy and Justin Chatwin as the Ghost, the special was written by Steven Moffat and directed by Ed Bazalgette (The Girl Who Died) – but what did you think of it? Was it worth the wait? Was it a massive disappointment? Have you indulged too much in today’s festivities so need to rewatch it to evaluate properly?

Vote in our poll, then tell us your thoughts in the comments section below! We’ll collate your opinions together, so keep your eyes peeled.

One more time this year, then: Merry Christmas everyone!

That’s it for another bloomin’ year…
