The PodKast with a K Discusses Doctor Who Series 10

With Doctor Who Series 10 on the horizon, it’s a great time to catch up with our friends at the PodKast with a K to hear their thoughts on what’s to come.
Of course, we start with the news that John Simm is returning to the role of the Master – something that would’ve been kept a huge secret until The Pilot airs. Sadly, The Sun sacrificed the audience’s enjoyment for some extra traffic, so leaked the revelation early. Christian Cawley and James McLean mull over the notion, and what this might mean for Missy (Michelle Gomez)…

But that’s far in the future, towards the end of this series. So what else will we see over the next three months?
We’ve the last of the River Thames Frost Fairs; Truth Monks; Ice Warriors; Mondasian Cybermen; and plenty of surprises.
In the latest PodKast, the pair discuss their expectations, notably from the writing team – Steven Moffat, Frank Cottrell-Boyce, Sarah Dollard, Mike Bartlett, Jamie Mathieson, Peter Harness, Toby Whithouse, Mark Gatiss, and Rona Munro.

So there we have it: a great little guide to what’s still to come from Doctor Who.
Which episodes are you most anticipating? Which writers are you thankful are returning? On a scale of 1 to “I need new underwear”, how excited are you…?
