Out Now – Doctor Who: The Women Who Lived – Amazing Tales for Future Time Lords

Christel Dee and Simon Guerrier invite you to celebrate some of the women who helped shape Doctor Who in the aptly titled Doctor Who: The Women Who Lived – Amazing Tales for Future Time Lords.

The 224-page hardback book features profiles of 75 women including the baseball bat wielding teen Ace, the precious astrophysicist Zoe, the Doctor’s granddaughter Susan and, of course, the Doctor – as The Woman Who Lived explores their adventures, triumphs and heartbreaks.

Featuring historical women such as Agatha Christie and Queen Victoria alongside fan favourites like Rose Tyler and Missy, The Women Who Lived tells the stories of women throughout space and time.

Each of the profiles are written by Dee and Guerrier and are accompanied by artwork by a handpicked team of female artists including Sophie Cowdrey, Emma Price, Rachel Smith and Emma Vieceli.

To mark the launch, there will be two signing events. The first at Forbidden Planet London on Friday 28th September, from 6-7pm and a second signing at Forbidden Planet Bristol on Saturday 29th September, from 1-2pm.

Doctor Who: The Women Who Lived – Amazing Tales for Future Time Lords is available to buy now from Amazon for £13.88.
