What Did You Think of Doctor Who: Rosa?

And so, with Malorie Blackman, we have the first Thirteenth Doctor story by a guest writer (although Rosa was nonetheless co-written by showrunner, Chris Chibnall). Quite unbelievably, she is also the first black woman to write for the show – though we should note there that Doctor Who has always had a diverse cast and crew.

Blackman said:

“I’ve always loved Doctor Who. Getting the chance to write for this series has definitely been a dream come true.”

The Doctor (Jodie Whittaker) demonstrated her inability to master the TARDIS once more, dropping Yaz Khan (Mandip Gill), Ryan Sinclair (Tosin Cole), and Graham O’Brien (Bradley Walsh) in 1950s Alabama, instead of Sheffield in 2018. There, they find Rosa Parks (Vinette Robinson, returning to the series over 10 years after 42), and something trying to change time…

But what did you think of Rosa? This is your chance to have your say, so vote in our poll below, then elaborate on your thoughts in the comments section!
