David Tennant to Attend Wales Comic Con in April

Doctor Who fans in Wales have a right to be really excited about the upcoming Comic-Con at Glyndwr University in Wrexham as David Tennant, he Tenth Doctor himself, has been announced as a guest.

This will be Tennant’s first big Comic Con appearance since last year at the Film and TV Con in London in June. As usual, there will be photo opportunities available for people who want to have their memories immortalised with the Doctor, Killgrave from Jessica Jones, and DI Alex Hardy from Broadchurch.

But you’ll have to fork out the dosh if you want a photo as a snap with Tennant will cost £85.60. He will also be joined by Billie Piper, and a joint photograph will set you back £149.80. No doubt though, fans of the pair won’t be put off, if his last appearance at London Film and Television is anything to go by.

Those hoping to meet Tennant will have to attend on Saturday 27th April as that is the only day of the weekend that he will be appearing.

Tennant and Piper will be joined by a multitude of different guests including fellow Doctor Who stars and guest stars, Liam Cunningham (Cold War), Russell Tovey (Voyage of the Damned), Michelle Gomez (Missy), and Mark Addy (The Battle of Ranskoor Av Kolos).

Other stars include, Charlie Cox (Daredevil), Rupert Grint (Harry Potter), Kiefer Sutherland (24 & The Lost Boys), Jennifer Morrison (Once Upon A Time), Hayley Atwell (Captain America, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Agent Carter), Chad Michael Murray, (One Tree Hill, Agent Carter), Sean Pertwee (Gotham & son of Jon Pertwee), and Brett Dalton (Agents of SHIELD), among many others.

eTickets are available to purchase from https://www.walescomiccon.com

The event will take place across one weekend; 27th- 28th April 2019. Opening times are from 11am.
