See Doctor Who Series 11 Costumes and Props at Madame Tussauds

Last year, Madame Tussauds in Blackpool included a brand new waxwork to their collection, that of the Thirteenth Doctor, played by Jodie Whittaker. Now though, they have added a number of additional exhibits from Series 11. While the centre piece of exhibit will remain the Thirteenth Doctor, she will be joined by the costumes of various friends and enemies she made over the course of the previous season.

These will be just the costumes for the characters, though in some cases, the costume includes a mask. They include:

T’zim-Sha (The Woman Who Fell to Earth and The Battle of Ranskoor Av Kolos); Epso and Angstrom from The Ghost Monument as well as the Sniperbots; Rosa Parks’ costume from Rosa; and Astos from The Tsuranga Conundrum. The Thijarians from Demons of the Punjab will be joined by The Kerblam! Man, from Kerblam! plus King James I and Becka Savage from The Witchfinders and the Ux from The Battle of Ranskoor Av Kolos. And to finish the exhibit off will be Lin and the Reconnaissance Dalek from Resolution.

Alongside the Thirteenth Doctor, the screen-used TARDIS will continue to be exhibited, which also featured in the same story as a number of the props on display from The Ghost Monument.

With the Doctor Who Experience in Cardiff now sadly closed, it is a delight to see that Madame Tussauds is stepping in to fill the gap left by its closure – though fans are still holding out hope that it might reopen at some point.

It’s definitely worth going along to take a look at some of the fantastic costumes from this last series, meet the Thirteenth Doctor, and take a photo with her TARDIS.

And Madame Tussauds Blackpool has a lot more to offer besides including some brilliant figures from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, most recently joined by Captain Marvel, played by Brie Larson as well as figures of well know celebrities throughout history and historical figures, many of whom the Doctor and friends have probably met throughout their travels!
