Eagerly anticipating the new series, Doctor Who fans have pushed the show to the number one position in the Top Ten TV Shows on Amazon Prime.
According to Jumpshot, a market analytics company who specialise in breaking down their customers’ entire lives online for their clients which probably isn’t as creepy as it sounds, report that Doctor Who took the top position last week, driving a 19% share, as viewers wait anxiously for the Series 10 premiere.
What’s more, while Series 9 is still not available to stream on Amazon Prime, they expect it to land this fall.
Other noticeable trends include a noticeably improvement for Amazon’s own Mozart in the Jungle, which saw a brief rise in audience share after a third season of the Golden Globe winning comedy series which focuses on the personal politics behind the New York Symphony and stars Gael García Bernal, was announced at this year’s Press Tour of the Television Critics Association.
Doctor Who will return this Christmas while Series 10 is expected to air in Spring 2017.
