Synopsis Revealed for Class Episode Five, Brave-Ish Heart

Things seemed to have reached a turning point – already! – in Class: April’s partly-alien heart is affecting her normal life, Sophie Hopkins’ typically kind character transformed into one prone to violence – and who can blame her? We saw this playing out in Co-Owner of a Lonely Heart, and next week, we have part two, Brave-Ish Heart.
April’s of course in a dire situation, but does she know that Ram (Fady Elsayed) has followed her to a very hostile environment?
Meanwhile,  Earth’s facing an invasion the likes of which we’ve never seen before. Here’s the official synopsis:

Battling through the Shadow Kin realm, April knows that there is no going back: she has to defeat Corakinus.

On Earth, the invasion of the petals is rapidly snowballing. Confronted with the threat of the planet’s extinction, new headmistress Dorothea attempts to force Charlie into making a transformational decision. But Miss Quill has other ideas for him.

As Charlie, Matteusz, and Tanya try to stop the petals from annihilating the human race, April must fight the terrifying force of Corakinus, light years away from home.

Pooky Quesnel stars as new headmistress, Dorothea once again, offering Miss Quill (Katherine Kelly) the chance to be free of her enslavement – and that’s in question too, with Charlie (Greg Austin) having to justify his actions to Tanya (Vivian Oparah) and Matteusz (Jordan Renzo).

It’s odd thinking that we’re already halfway through this first series of the Doctor Who spin-off…
Written by Patrick Ness, Brave-Ish Heart airs on BBC Three on Saturday 12th November 2016.
