We’re now more than halfway through Doctor Who spin-off, Class – its first series at least, and no, a second run hasn’t been confirmed, but we’re keeping our fingers crossed!
In Brave-Ish Heart, April (Sophie Hopkins) faced up against the Shadow Kin, and her own dad, with Ram (Fady Elsayed) in tow. Meanwhile, Miss Quill (Katherine Kelly) discovered Charlie’s (Greg Austin) little secret – and both learnt the new headmistress (Pooky Quesnel) isn’t what she appears to be.
So what’s in store for episode 6, Detained? Here’s the official synopsis:
The whole gang is thrown into detention by Miss Quill. Locked in her classroom, they are terrified when an explosion propels them out of space and time: trapped, claustrophobic and floating in blackness with no way of escape.
Although a mysterious asteroid fragment may be their key to freedom, it forces the gang to confess their deepest, darkest secrets to one another. As ugly truths come out, fractures start to appear in the friendship group.
And then they make a chilling discovery. They’re not alone. There’s somebody in there with them.
Hmm. It seems Quill’s still sore from being lied to by the one she’s supposed to be protecting. Revenge is in order, then…
Presumably, this is the episode that gels the group together – and truths are revealed!
Written by Patrick Ness, Class: Detained is available from the online-only BBC Three from 10am on Saturday 19th November.
