That’s Peter Capaldi’s era of the Doctor Who wrapped up in a neat Christmas package. And Steven Moffat’s too, actually.
It’s Christmas Day, and as we’ve grown accustomed to, it’s a time for tears as a Doctor departs the TARDIS. This time, with Twice Upon A Time, the showrunner has also left. It’s the end, but the moment, as they say, has been prepared for. A new series awaits us in 2018, and we genuinely don’t know what to expect. I guess we’ll just have to stay tuned.
But for now, let’s focus on Twice Upon A Time, and as usual, we’re asking you to vote in our poll.
Please rate it between 1 and 5, with 5 being hugely enjoyable and 1 being the mouldy tangerine you’ve just found behind the Christmas tree. Seriously, who did that?! We’ve given the options snazzier titles than “1/5”, “2/5” etc., just because it’s Christmas. And it’s tradition.
Voted? Marvellous. Thanks. Oh, but we’re not done with you just yet!
Please tell us more about your thoughts on the Christmas special in the comments section below. Was that a decent send-off for Bill? What was David Bradley like as the First Doctor? And did you cry when we said goodbye to the Twelfth Doctor?
We’ll collate your thoughts, with the poll results in a future edition of Sonic Feedback.
And keep ’em peeled for our review of Twice Upon A Time, coming later this evening.
Merry Christmas to all our readers!
