David Tennant and Peter Davison Join The Line Up For The Muppets Take The O2

This is a Muppet news flash. It’s time to put on makeup, it’s time to light the lights as the most sensational, inspirational, celebrational, muppetational show hits London – and they’re bring a couple of Doctors with them too!
Making sure that there will definitely be a Doctor in the house (“waka waka”), David Tennant and Peter Davison will join the Kermit the Frog & co as they take to the O2 Arena in er…The Muppets Take The O2, for a variety of sketches and musical performances on Friday 13th and Saturday 14th July.
Tennant will appear on the Friday, alongside fellow special guests Kylie Minogue (who herself is no stranger to Doctor Who, having appeared in the 2007 Christmas special, The Voyage of the Damned), Kevin Bishop and Charles Dance, while Davison will feature alongside comedian Adam Hills and pop group Steps on Saturday.

In a statement, Kermit the Frog said:
“We’re thrilled and thankful to all these stars for joining us for The Muppets Take The O2. I’m sure the audience will have the time of their lives. And I promise that no celebrities will be harmed in the making of this once-in-a-lifetime event, so long as they don’t get between Miss Piggy and the audience.”
The show marks the first time that Jim Henson’s iconic and enduring creations have performed outside of the USA.
