A new clip from the Doctor Who Series 11 premiere episode, The Woman Who Fell To Earth has been revealed by the BBC, featuring Jodie Whittaker as the Thirteenth Doctor.
While it’s mildly spoilerific, there’s nothing here that will ruin your enjoyment of the story as a whole; you’ll merely learn Yasmin Khan’s job (played by Mandip Gill). We also see Tosin Cole as another new companion, Ryan Sinclair.
But why is she calling the Doctor “madam”…?
Yes, the Doctor’s a woman now. You might’ve heard about it, but they kept it very low-key, and it hasn’t got many column-inches either. Jodie Whittaker hasn’t been repeatedly asked how it feels to be the first female Doctor either.
The clip debuted on The Graham Norton Show last night (28th September 2018), but was also leaked a little while ago. So if you’ve already seen it, it’s your own fault.
Written by Chris Chibnall, The Woman Who Fell To Earth airs on Sunday 7th October 2018 on BBC1 and BBC America.
