Will Doctor Who Series 12 Take Viewers to Paris During WWII?

Filming for the next series of Doctor Who continues, with fans spotting clues that indicate an episode will be set in France, possibly during the Second World War.

The Thirteenth Doctor, Jodie Whittaker was on location at the Glamorgan Building of Cardiff University for the night shoot. The area has previously been used for episodes like Boom Town, Blink, Love & Monsters, and The Empty Child.

The Glamorgan Building was dressed with signs for the Bois de Boulogne, a park in the 16th arrondissement of Paris.

A WWII-era German car was also spotted near the set, leading us to believe at least one story will take place in France during the 1940s.

It also sounds like the Doctor has a new, darker jacket, but Whittaker covered this up with a coat for any photos taken with fans.

Last week, Bradley Walsh (Graham O’Brien), Mandip Gill (Yasmin Khan), and Tosin Cole (Ryan Sincliar) attended a night shoot on Barry Island, all wearing formal attire.

Doctor Who Series 12 will air in early 2020.
