Classic Doctor Who Monster Seen on Location for Series 12 Filming in Bristol

A classic Doctor Who enemy has been spotted on location for filming on the next series of the show; it’s expected that this shoot is for a special episode, in addition to the 10 already confirmed for Series 12. It’s possible this is a Christmas special, starring Jodie Whittaker as the Thirteenth Doctor.

Filming took place during the night of Tuesday 22nd October, into the early morning of Wednesday 23rd October 2019, at the iconic Clifton Suspension Bridge in Bristol.

Of course, the BBC may still confirm the inclusion of these returning baddies, but for now, we’re giving you a SPOILER WARNING.

We’re giving you this chance to navigate away from this article if you don’t want the surprise ruined for you.

This Dalek seemed to go down well when it appeared on screen, but that was a makeshift unit, cobbled together from bits and pieces, so we’ll see how this dark design is used.

We don’t know when this extra serial will air; as it’s likely a special, it’s probably written by showrunner, Chris Chibnall. There are hints that it could screen at Christmas 2020.

And there are rumours that the Daleks aren’t the only returning threat, but until we see visual evidence, we’re not commenting…
