If you’re anything like me then Wednesdays mean only one thing: new comics day! It’s that magical time of the week where, shiny coins in hand, I ramble down to my local good stockist of sequential art, wrap on his door with my cane and demand to see his latest wares…at which point he politely asks me to leave and never darken his doorway again.
What a wheeze he is! And he’s only pressed charges once!
And what wares does he have this Wednesday? Well it’s non-other than the continuing adventures of the Tenth Doctor and Gabby in Doctor Who: Tenth Doctor #2.9.
Written by Nick Abadzis with art by Elena Casagrande, the issue sees the Doctor, Gabby and Cindy investigate ‘the Wishing Well Witch’ in the town of Dewbury… only to find what lurks in the well is something far worse, and more strange, than the legend! It’s an unearthly terror, cast through a schism in the universe… and it’s tearing the town apart!
