Merry Christmas From the Doctor Who Companion!

Merry Christmas from everyone here at The Doctor Who Companion!

And a very merry Christmas to everyone working here at the DWC from me. Thank you for all your stellar work and dedication this year. You’ve been marvellous, and make running the site a pleasure.

Thank you, too, for reading this year. Needless to say, we wouldn’t be here without you.

Don’t worry, we’re not signing off for the year or anything mad like that! We just wanted to take a second to send you all the best wishes for the festivities. We’ve still got plenty to come over Christmastime and the New Year, with features and reviews running over into Twelfth Night — and beyond, of course. As 2026 approaches, the DWC’s 10th anniversary year, we’ve got some cool stuff planned; alongside, of course, all your usual fixes of news.

There should be a lot more news next year, when there’s a new episode of Doctor Who on Christmas Day (presumably). For now, we’ve got loads of festive episodes to rewatch in the meantime: might I suggest Voyage of the Damned, The Snowmen, and Resolution?

And yes, we’ve got an exciting DWC Annual to share with you over the festive season. Sorry, we know it’s normally available by now, but this year has been busy, so I’ve just got some final checks to go through. Hopefully, the Annual will be available, free to download as a PDF as ever, tomorrow (aka Boxing Day, in case there was any doubt).

Until then: MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL!
