Character Options Reveals New Doctor Who Set With Tegan Jovanka and a Destroyed Dalek

You can now order a special Doctor Who action figure set from Character Options, based on the Fifth Doctor story, Resurrection of the Daleks.

This is the first Doctor Who exclusive figure set of 2026, released as a ‘Vortex Edition’ that’s available solely through www.character-online.com — not from B&M as many Character sets have been before. That partnership is ongoing, but this set is an online exclusive directly from the makers.

And though this is the first release of 2026 from the manufacturers, it wasn’t always that way…

Al Dewar, Creative Director at Character Options, explains:

“The one that got away… almost! This set started life many moons ago in a wholly different form and it has been across my desk at least four times in as many years. Once it was possible, it continued to be revised many times over, before finally becoming a completely new figure from top to toe. The team knocked it out the park on this one and we’re very proud to bring the one and only Tegan Jovanka to the figure range.”

The Tegan Jovanka figure stands 13.7cm tall, with multiple articulation points consisting of ankles, knees, hips, waist, shoulders, elbows, and neck. Of course, she comes in the outfit seen in 1984’s Resurrection of the Daleks, her last regular story.

Her accessories consist of a Dalek Trooper gun, as used by Commander Lytton’s Dalek squad, as well as a Movellan virus canister. Also included is a destroyed Resurrection style Dalek, with a blasted and scorched casing, an internal life support tank, splattered with bright green Dalek gunk, and showing the mutant Dalek creature within.

This new set is on sale now through www.character-online.co.uk and costs £44.99. Each online exclusive release has unique features not to be seen on retail versions and with a limited amount available.
