Peter Capaldi, aka the Twelfth Doctor, has announced his first-ever headline music tour, after two successful albums.
Capaldi had designs on being a pop star before he became an actor; as such, he was part of a student punk band named The Dreamboys. He’s since released two albums — St. Christopher and Sweet Illusions, respectively released in 2021 and 2025.
His tour consists of eight select dates across the UK, beginning in Newcastle on 24th February and concluding in London’s 100 Club on 9th March.
Peter says:
“I was in a band at art school, fired up by the punk explosion, we went out into the world in search of rock stardom, and well… I became an actor. But I never lost my love for music. And in recent years have produced two albums of original songs, St. Christopher (2021) and [2025]’s Sweet Illusions.
“Recording, with all the advantages of the digital age is one thing, playing live is another, but I wanted to see if I could go out after all of these years and play live in front of an audience. Well, let’s see what happens. I’ve lucked out with my band, a group of wonderful young musicians who have bravely come on board for the ride.”
Capaldi’s support act is Zoe Graham.
This is Peter’s first ever music tour, so we hope he gets loads of love and support — certainly everyone at the DWC is behind him.
Peter’s tour takes in Newcastle, Manchester, Edinburgh, Leeds, Nottingham, Brighton, Cardiff, and London. You can get tickets over at mytickets, and listen to his albums on streaming services like Spotify.
