After the first ever Doctor Who digital broadcasting event, it’s now time for Torchwood to take a bow on Twitch.
Starting in May, TwitchPresents set about airing over 500 episodes from 26 seasons of classic Doctor Who worldwide and now, starting Sunday 15th July, Captain Jack Harkness and the Torchwood crew will be joining the fun.
Torchwood originally aired between 2006 and 2011 and ran for four seasons. The show followed Captain Jack Harkness (John Barrowman) as the leader of the Cardiff branch of Torchwood in the first two series before moving on to two special events, Children of Earth and Miracle Day.
According to Digital Spy, you’ll be able to catch the whole run every Sunday for the next four weeks, airing at 6pm in the UK (10am PDT).
The full schedule is as follows:
July 15 – Torchwood: Series One
July 22 – Torchwood: Series Two
July 29 – Torchwood: Children of Earth
August 5 – Torchwood: Miracle Day
In the years since Torchwood faded from our screens, the baton passed to Big Finish who have kept fans sated with a number of audio plays, including a reunion for the full Torchwood team – Captain Jack Harkness, Gwen Cooper, Ianto Jones, Owen Harper and Toshiko Sato – in Torchwood: Believe.
However, you can relive all of Torchwood from July 15th on Twitch.
