Bill Potts and Nardole Return (Sort Of) In Support of the NHS

Pearl Mackie and Matt Lucas are back together again, this time to sing a duet of Thank You Baked Potato, Lucas’ catchy hit song which helps support the UK’s National Health Service during this unprecedented, demanding time.

The song was created by Matt for the BBC comedy show, Shooting Stars in the 1990s; the comic and actor recorded it again to aid frontline workers during the Coronavirus pandemic. Lucas is teaming up with stars far and wide (digitally, of course) to promote the song, singing duets on social media and encouraging people to download and/or donate using a number of methods including JustGiving, iTunes, Amazon Music, Spotify, Deezer, and Tidal.

Pearl Mackie played companion, Bill Potts, opposite Peter Capaldi’s Twelfth Doctor and Matt Lucas’ Nardole throughout Doctor Who Series 10. Ah, how we miss them.

If you enjoyed that, don’t forget to support the NHS by donating.

Thanks for your generosity, Thank You Baked Potato has even entered into the Top 40 chart!

Coincidentally, I think I may be in love with Pearl Mackie.
