Ncuti Gatwa and Millie Gibson Tease “Hottest” Doctor Who Adventures with New Companion

Ncuti Gatwa and Millie Gibson have spoken about the dynamic between them and the new companion, played by Varada Sethu.

Sethu will be joining the TARDIS team from Doctor Who Series 15, and while Gibson has called her “beautiful”, Gatwa has further explained:

“She’s brought such an amazing energy to the show and has added such an incredible dynamic to that TARDIS. We three save the universe!”

And then Millie added:

“In the hottest way.”

Of course, Gibson describing events in the TARDIS as hot has sent half of fandom complaining on the internet about hanky-panky, and the other half of fandom to pass out. In which camp does the DWC fall into? Neither: we are above such things.

HANKY PANKY IN THE TARDIS THOUGH. DESTROY THE BBC. CANCEL THE LICENSE FEE. HASHTAGCLEANUPNATIONALTELEVISION.

Anyway, we won’t see Sethu on screen until next year, unless she pulls a Clara Oswald and pops up early. Nonetheless, it’s nice to hear the chemistry between the three is strong — not a surprise, though, given that they would’ve done screen tests together to make sure their dynamic shines on screen.

Before we see Varada on screen, we get to see the Fifteenth Doctor and Ruby Sunday gallivanting across time and space in eight episodes, beginning in just under two weeks’ time!
