Character Options Announces Fifteenth Doctor and Ruby Sunday Doctor Who Action Figures

Character Options has confirmed a new series of 5.5″ action figures will launch with the Fifteenth Doctor and Ruby Sunday, respectively played on screen by Ncuti Gatwa and Millie Gibson.

The pair come in matching “Vortex Edition” packaging that fits together nicely, and is sure to be grabbed up by avid collectors.

These figures feature a higher specification decoration for extra detail and features include internal pivots on the neck and ankles, ball-jointed waist and shoulders, and internal pins on the arms and legs.

There are exclusive online versions though mass retail versions will be available soon afterwards in different packing.

The online versions feature the Fifteenth Doctor in his tan coat with orange striped shirt blue trousers and red and black trainers. His accessories include the blue sonic screwdriver, landmine from Boom, and his psychic paper. The Ruby Sunday figure is in red jumper, tartan skirt, and black bomber jacket, i.e. her look from The Church on Ruby Road, and comes with her mobile phone and shoulder bag accessories.

The mass retail versions, meanwhile, are in fused blister carded packs, with the Fifteenth Doctor in a teal shirt, ocean green trousers, and tan shoes; Ruby Sunday is dressed in a denim jacket, blue skirt, and cream jumper.

Brand Manager, Kathryn Ludlam, said:

“Since their first appearance at London Toy Fair, we have been inundated with requests about the release of the Fifteenth Doctor and Ruby Sunday figures. We are delighted to confirm that the figures will be available in two formats; an exclusive bundle pack from Character Online and as individual packs with alternative decoration at mass retail, both launching later in the year.”

Yep, both in time for Christmas. That’s no coincidence!

The online exclusives, priced £39.99, go on sale on 17th October 2024 at www.character-online.co.uk.
