This Wednesday (26th March 2025), The Doctor Who Companion turns 9, and to celebrate, we’ve teamed up with Candy Jar Books to give you an exclusive extract of Companions: More Than Sixty Years of Doctor Who Assistants.
The book details everything you might wish to know about the Doctor’s friends, from Susan to Ruby Sunday, and this includes chapters for each incarnation of the Time Lord discussing adventures for companions across multimedia platforms, i.e. books, comics, and audio.
Appropriately enough, this extract from Companions is the entire “Expanded Universe” section of the Ninth Doctor (Christopher Eccleston).
