The TARDIS Is Broken and the Doctor Steps Into an Animated World in New Doctor Who Trailer

The BBC and Disney+ have released a brand new Doctor Who Series 15 trailer, which shows new companion, Belinda Chandra (Varada Sethu), kidnapped by robots, the TARDIS, and Belinda and the Fifteenth Doctor (Ncuti Gatwa) become really quite animated…

Check it out now.

We get clips from various episodes across Ncuti Gatwa’s second season as the Doctor, but most notably The Robot Revolution, Lucky Day (featuring the return of Millie Gibson as Ruby Sunday, now working for UNIT), and The Well. We also see quite a few intriguing scenes from Lux, set in 1952 Miami, with Alan Cumming playing the animated character, Mr Ring-a-Ding. He’s described as:

“[A] happy, funny, singalong cartoon, who lives in Sunny Town with his friend Sunshine Sally.

“However, in 1952, after years of repeats in cinemas across the land, Mr Ring-a-Ding suddenly looks beyond the screen and sees the real world outside — and the consequences are terrifying.”

The titles and creative teams were revealed earlier this week, so here’s a reminder:
