The BBC has released a few new photos for the upcoming season of Doctor Who, showing the return of Millie Gibson as companion, Ruby Sunday, alongside new companion, Varada Sethu, who plays Belinda Chandra opposite the Fifteenth Doctor (Ncuti Gatwa).
The pictures come from a range of episodes, notably Lux, the second episode of Series 15; Lucky Day, in which we meet Ruby’s new boyfriend, Conrad, played by Jonah Hauer-King; and The Interstellar Song Contest.
Scant servings, but at least we’ve got a few new photos for now…




The season is compromised of eight episodes, and is the second run with the Fifteenth Doctor. The episodes and creative teams are:

- Lux: Written by Russell T Davies, directed by Amanda Brotchie
- The Well: Written by Russell T Davies & Sharma Angel Walfall, directed by Amanda Brotchie
- Lucky Day: Written by Pete McTighe, directed by Peter Hoar
- The Story & the Engine: Written by Inua Ellams, directed by Makalla McPherson
- The Interstellar Song Contest: Written by Juno Dawson, directed by Ben A. Williams
- Wish World: Written by Russell T Davies, directed by Alex Sanjiv Pillai
- The Reality War: Written by Russell T Davies, directed by Alex Sanjiv Pillai
Peter Hoar previously directed A Good Man Goes to War, and Alex Pillai did Joy to the World. Aside from showrunner, Russell T Davies, the only other returning writer is Pete McTighe (Kerblam!, Praxeus).
Doctor Who Series 15 starts on BBC1 and Disney+ on 12th April 2025.
