Following Wish World, the BBC has not only announced the cast and synopsis for the Doctor Who Series 15 finale, but also that The Reality War will be an extra long episode!
Written by showrunner, Russell T Davies, and directed by Alex Sanjiv Pillai, the last episode of this run of stories will have a duration of one hour and six minutes, making it the longest episode of Series 15.
Here’s what to expect:
Tight as a noose, strands that have drawn across seasons and centuries now pull together for a devastating climax. The Doctor is doomed. Belinda is lost. Ruby is trapped. A battle rages across the skies as legends converge. Our brave, battered, beaten Doctor stands alone and helpless as the Unholy Trinity unleash their deadly ambition and the Underverse rises. Many fans will no doubt be enjoying Wish World and The Reality War together n the big screen, as they’re being played at cinemas across the UK.
But otherwise, you can catch The Reality War on Saturday 31st May 2025 at 6:50pm on BBC1 and iPlayer in the UK, and on Disney+ in other territories.
