Meet Sophie Aldred and the Strangeness in Space Cast in London

The audio sci-fi comedy series supported by fans on Kickstarter, Strangeness in Space, is over halfway to funding the fourth episode, Pet Shock Boys, and if you’re free on Sunday 31st July, head to the Leicester Square Theatre in London to meet its stars!
Doctor Who aficionados know Sophie Aldred as Ace, the Seventh Doctor’s brilliant companion. In Strangeness in Space, she has her very won companions: Saturday morning comedy duo, Trev & Simon, joined by producer, Clare Eden: all four will be at the Leicester Square Theatre between 4 and 7pm, interviewed by comedy historian, Robert Ross.
There will be a Q & A session, along with some Script fun with the crew – and there’s even some extra time for a meet and greet afterwards so fans can talk one-on-one. Further details on that, and all the other opportunities, are listed on a post in the News section of their website.
If you’d like to contribute to the series, specifically to episode 4, there are still some perks available, notably “IN SPACE, EVERYONE CAN HEAR YOUR NAME” (ie. a name read out at the end of the credits), and for Script Commissioners.
More perks include a Thorsleigh t-shirt, entry into a voiceover draw, a special collector’s edition CD of episode 1, and a print of Lee Sullivan’s concept artwork signed by Sophie, Simon, Trev, and Clare. And there are only a couple of days left on the draw to win the Studio copy of Episode 2: Five – with a front cover signed by the cast. It’s £2.50 a ticket and you can buy as many as you like!
To celebrate Easter, here’s a special (and strange) message from L.E.M.O.N., aka Barnaby Edwards (Dalek operator).
