Tomorrow’s Doctor Who Tweet-Along Rewatch is the Series 4 Classic, Turn Left

This weekend’s Doctor Who rewatch takes us to an alternate universe where the Doctor is dead and the stars are going out! That’s right: it’s the much-loved Series 4 story, Turn Left.

Emily Cook has relaunched the Lockdown Who project as the UK went into a second lockdown imposed by the government in response to the Coronavirus pandemic. This time, Twitter users vote on which companions they want the next episode to relate to and then highlight which episode should be nominated to be rewatched by fans across the globe.

Donna Noble (Catherine Tate) won this round, and Turn Left was suggested so often, it began trending on Twitter!

The story writes out the Tenth Doctor (David Tennant) for much of the episode, as Donna takes the lead in a world without everyone’s favourite Time Lord. Turn Left is written by Russell T Davies and fed on storylines from across Series 2, 3, and 4.

Though Davies won’t be able to tweet along, director Graeme Harper (The Caves of Androzani) will be revealing behind-the-scenes secrets during the tweet-along.

So how do you get involved? Just start playing Turn Left as 7pm (UK time) on Saturday 14th November 2020, then tweet along your thoughts using the hashtag #TrickstersBrigade – and follow that hashtag to see what your peers think in real-time.
