What Did You Think of Doctor Who: The Giggle?

Doctor Who is now in its 61st year, so we’ve appropriately been treated to 61 minutes of action were the Fourteenth Doctor (David Tennant) was reunited with the Toymaker (Neil Patrick Harris), a character not seen on screen since 1966’s The Celestial Toymaker.

Yes, the 60th anniversary celebrations are over, but we’ve got plenty of Doctor Who still to come: after all, the Fifteenth Doctor, played by Ncuti Gatwa, is here, and on Christmas Day, he’s set to properly meet his new companion, Ruby Sunday (Millie Gibson). But before we get to The Church on Ruby Road, we want to know what you thought of The Giggle.

Vote in our online poll, then we’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments section below.

So let’s get down to it. What did you think of the episode? Was it a good swansong for the Fourteenth Doctor and Donna Noble (Catherine Tate)? How did it measure up against The Star Beast and Wild Blue Yonder? Did you enjoy seeing Harris as the Toymaker? And was this as controversial as showrunner, Russell T Davies, promised?

Let’s hear what you think in the comments section below!
