Ncuti Gatwa and Millie Gibson will appear in a new episode of Doctor Who spin-off, Tales of the TARDIS, set to be available later this week.
Gatwa and Gibson will star as the Fifteenth Doctor and Ruby Sunday respectively in the “remembered TARDIS”, a control room made up of bits from various time machine consoles, and features the pair reminiscing about their time together — plus, after the revelations of The Legend of Ruby Sunday, we reckon there’s another four-part story the Doctor will have to tell Ruby all about!
Spoilers if you’ve not caught up to date with the Series 14 episode yet…
Yes, as Tales of the TARDIS typically include a smattering of new footage around past adventures, we’re pretty sure the upcoming episode will include something from Pyramids of Mars, featuring Sutkeh the Destroyer!
Previous episodes of Tales of the TARDIS were released to coincide with Doctor Who‘s 60th anniversary and included Peter Davison, Maureen O’Brien, and Sylvester McCoy, to name a small handful.
The synopsis for the upcoming Fifteenth Doctor instalment reads:
Far away in time, on board an old Remembered TARDIS, the Doctor and Ruby pause in battle to reflect on their recent adventures.
Tales of the TARDIS airs at 8pm on Thursday 20th June 2024 on BBC Four, then will be available on BBC iPlayer.
