What Did You Think of Doctor Who: The Reality War?

So for the first time in a little while now, all Doctor Who fans around the world could sit down and watch the show at the same time, whether that be live on BBC1, streaming on iPlayer and Disney+, or in cinemas in the UK (where The Reality War was paired with Wish World). While that in itself is a lovely global thing, experiencing the Doctor Who Series 15 (or Season 2 if we really must) separated yet together, we reckon there are a few things in The Reality War that will be controversial. It is, after all, a finale written by Russell T Davies, now quite a divisive figure in the franchise’s legacy.

Cards on the table, I write this a few hours before broadcast, so I don’t know what we have in store. There are rumours of a regeneration. Or a bi-generation. There are rumours that Omega really is back, as well as Rassilon, the former being a big CGI monster thing. I’m nervous. Oh, people of the future, what does your past have in store for me?

We want to know what you thought of the finale. First, as ever, we’ve got our online poll, so please do vote, but after you do, don’t go anywhere, because we want to know more…

Can’t see the poll? It’s probably an ad-blocker or browser restricting additional content. Just click here or type this URL — https://poll.fm/15554627 — into another tab to be redirected to the poll. But please come back afterwards!

Yes, we’d like to know what you thought of not just The Reality War but also how it compared to Wish World and of Series 15 as a whole. Where does the finale rank in comparison to previous seasons’ closing episodes? How would you rank the seasons in general? Where did you watch The Reality War from? If you went to the cinema, how was the experience? And are you excited for the future of Doctor Who? Let us know in the comments section below!
