Three new Doctor Who action figure sets are shipping exclusively to B&M stores across the UK – but before rushing out to your local shop, beware that many haven’t received the figures yet, and others are already reporting that they’re sold out!
The most popular right now is a Third Doctor pack, which also includes his TARDIS – which, yes, looks wonderful.
The other sets are: The 1970s, including the Fourth Doctor circa The Talons of Weng-Chiang, an Auton, and the Brigadier as seen in Doctor Who Season 7; The Eleventh Doctor Set, including the Doctor from The Snowmen, Amy Pond from Let’s Kill Hitler, and Oswin Oswald, an echo of Clara Oswald and who appeared in Asylum of the Daleks; and The Twelfth Doctor Set, with the Doctor as seen in Face the Raven, Bill Potts from The Pilot, and Missy from Extremis.
These are 5.5″ models, which are typically aimed at collectors (the 3.75″ figures proving less popular due to a certain lack of detail).
B&M was formed in 1978 and have been dedicated to producing Doctor Who sets for a few years now – most pleasingly at very good prices. And we applaud that dedication, especially since the sad fall of Toys ‘R’ Us earlier this year.
The packs are slowly being sent out to chains across the UK throughout this month (August 2018), so phone ahead to check whether your local store has the sets available before heading out!
Action figures are popping up on eBay and other auction sites, but of course they’re at inflated prices, so be wise and be patient!
Each three-figure set retails at £16.99, while the Third Doctor and TARDIS pack costs £19.99.
