The BBC has released new photos for the upcoming Doctor Who New Year’s Day special, Resolution.
Sadly, there’s no sign of the heavily-hinted-at Daleks, but this batch of pictures is at least more exciting than the previous bunch. We get to see some new locales, teasing a threat throughout the ages, plus a few guest stars.
These include Charlotte Ritchie (Call the Midwife), who plays Lin, wearing a police uniform – so are we to presume that she’s one of Yasmin Khan’s (Mandip Gill) peers? There’s also an image of her tinkering with some decidedly Dalek-esque tech…
Resolution airs on New Year’s Day on BBC1 and BBC America.
