The Coronavirus pandemic has changed a lot of plans across the world – including the San Diego Comic Con, which was due to take place from 22nd – 26th July. Fortunately, the convention is still happening, albeit as a digital event, Comic Con @ Home, which streams exclusive panels via YouTube.
Among these is the Time Lord Victorious panel, which is on Saturday 25th July 2020 at 2pm local time, i.e. 10pm in the UK.
The Doctor Who storyline is a multi-platform arc focused on the Eighth, Ninth, and Tenth Doctors, told across novels, comics, audio, and more. We’ll learn further details during the San Diego panel, which features Andrew Sumner, head of publisher, Titan Entertainment; BBC producer and writer, James Goss; comic book writer, Jody Houser; artist, Roberta Ingranata; colourist, Enrica Eren Angiolini; editor, Jake Devine; and senior creative editor, David Leach.
You can watch the panel live, completely free, on the Comic Con @ Home YouTube channel.
Comic Con @ Home is expected to consist of more than 350 panels about TV, movies, comics, and games, featuring teasers trailers and news. It’s no great shock that these now include announcements of movie delays, affecting films like Spider-Man 3, Mulan, and Avatar 2; surprisingly, The New Mutants, which has been delayed since 2016 and stars Maisie Williams (The Girl Who Died) as the Scottish mutant, Wolfsbane, will still hit cinemas in August – one of the few productions not affected by lockdown.
