Escape Hunt Launches The Hollow Planet, a Print-And-Play Doctor Who Game To Enjoy at Home

Escape Hunt, official licencees of BBC Studios, has launched a new Doctor Who Escape Room game, which you can play from the comfort of your own home!

Many industries are suffering right now due to the Coronavirus pandemic, as we settle into what some are calling “the new normal” (a rather loathsome term, I find). One such industry having to adapt to immense change is live events – certainly Escape Rooms can’t function as they did before, although we hope new procedures can open them up again in the near future. Nonetheless, for now, we can’t attend the Doctor Who sessions set up at Escape Hunt venues across the UK. (I went to one in January and enjoyed it immensely.)

And that’s where The Hollow Planet comes in.

All you need to take part in this print-and-play game is a printer, colouring pencils, and an internet-enabled device with audio. Plus people to play along with!

Here’s what the game’s about:

Something (or someone!) has knocked out the local android population and taken over the mining facility built long ago on the planet’s surface.

Are you ready to take on this intergalactic Doctor Who adventure, meet assistance hologram penguins, crack Dalek codes, and work with your team to help the Doctor save the day?

The Hollow Planet takes about an hour to complete and caters for 2- 6 players, aged 8 and above.

Check out The Hollow Planet from Escape Hunt now, priced £14.99.
