What Did You Think of Doctor Who: Joy to the World?

Merry Christmas, one and all! The BBC has given us a nice little festive gift in the form of the latest adventure for Ncuti Gatwa’s Fifteenth Doctor — not only that but Joy to the World is also the first Christmas special written by ex-showrunner, Steven Moffat, since Twice Upon a Time in 2017!

But Joy to the World might be a controversial one. Then again, that’s Doctor Who for you.

That’s why we want to know what you thought of the 2024 Christmas Day special.

Vote in our poll below once you’ve had chance to catch up on the Doctor’s time in the Time Hotel, alongside Nicola Coughlan’s Joy. And please expand on your thoughts in the comments section below.

Don’t forget that if you’re looking for more Doctor Who content over the holidays, you can download the Doctor Who Companion Annual 2025 — an 82-page extravaganza that’s free to enjoy now! Yep, it’s completely free. Just click on the link to download the free PDF.

If you’ve voted, let us know what you think and how your Christmas is going below. Thanks! And for one last time this year: Merry Christmas!
