Original Mondasian Cybermen Return for Series 10 Finale!

The original Cybermen, hailing from the doomed planet Mondas, are finally returning for the Doctor Who Series 10 finale!
This classic design debuted in The Tenth Planet, the 1966 story that saw William Hartnell’s First Doctor regenerated into the second incarnation of the Time Lord, played by Patrick Troughton. These Mondasians are Peter Capaldi’s favourite monsters: in fact, he’s been saying for years that he wanted them to return (after all, we’ve not seen them since that first serial – that’s over 50 years ago), so it’s perfect that they’re back for the actor’s last full series as the Twelfth Doctor.
These Cybermen will return in Episodes 11 and 12 of Series 10, which are being filmed now in Cardiff, written by showrunner, Steven Moffat, and directed by Rachel Talalay (Dark Water/ Death in Heaven; Heaven Sent/ Hell Bent). Look at them. Just look at them!

The two-part story will also see Michelle Gomez back as Missy, alongside Pearl Mackie as Bill Potts, and Matt Lucas as Nardole.
Doctor Who Series 10 begins on BBCOne on 15th April 2017.
Are you looking forward to seeing the Mondasians again? What about Missy, directed once more by Talalay?
