PodKast with a K: Har-de-Har-de-Who (Or, Comedy in Doctor Who)

It’s Sunday, and with less than a fortnight until Doctor Who Series 10, you should take it easy. Sit back, relax, and take 40 minutes to listen to the latest instalment of the PodKast with a K!
In this latest edition, coming on the heels of Comic Relief, Christian Cawley and James McLean discuss comedy’s place in our favourite show. Red Nose Day has given us numerous comical shorts over the years, but most notable is The Curse of Fatal Death, written by Steven Moffat and starring a TARDIS-load of familiar faces.
If that’s not enough for you to mull over, the pair also talk about soap operas. Hooked you now, haven’t we?

Sure, we take it very seriously, and recite the entire scripts of Image of the Fendahl, The Caves of Androzani, and The Impossible Planet/ The Satan Pit as examples of classic Who, but there would be no dark without light. Let’s celebrate The Unicorn and the WaspCity of Death, and The Gunfighters!
Personally, one of my favourite scenes with the Eleventh Doctor is in The Lodger, in which he tries some wine, mid-conversation, then spits it out, like a cat with a fur-ball. Marvellous.
So tell us: what’s your favourite funny moment from Who? Any serials packed with humour that you love?
