The scripts for episodes of Doctor Who Series 9, 10 and 11, starring Peter Capaldi’s Twelfth Doctor and Jodie Whittaker’s Thirteenth, can now be enjoyed online.

Now available to download from BBC Writers’ Room, the scripts for Under the Lake/Before the Flood and The Lie of the Land by Toby Whithouse, who is best known for bringing back Sarah Jane Smith and K9 in School Reunion; and The Woman Who Fell to Earth by showrunner Chris Chibnall.

Each consisting of shooting scripts, Under the Lake/Before the Flood is the only two-parter to be written by Whithouse, a spooky base-under-siege tale set in the future and the past. The Lie of the Land is the third and final part of the loose Monks Trilogy where Earth is under occupation from the titular villains.

In contrast, we get treated to a post-production script for The Woman Who Fell to Earth, the full-length debut of Jodie Whittaker as the Thirteenth Doctor and Chris Chibnall’s first episode as showrunner. Directly continuing from where we left off in Twice Upon a Time, the first female incarnation of our titular hero makes a new team of “friends” in present day Sheffield, but danger comes when a Stenza warrior known as Tim Shaw (aka “Tzim-Sha”) changes everybody’s lives forever.
