New Doctor Who Animation to be Revealed at This Month's London Comic Con!

We don’t have long to wait to find out what the next (after The Faceless Ones) missing Doctor Who serial to get the animated treatment will be – in fact, it’ll be revealed at the MCM London Comic Con later this month.

The upcoming panels have been unveiled, and includes a number of fascinating talks, including a tribute to Terrance Dicks, a Virtual Reality (VR) experience, and a discussion on the Doctor Who – The Collection Blu-ray sets.

Listed under The Animations panel, hosted by Toby Hadoke on the Main Stage, we’re promised:

  • Hear from the Executive Producer and special guests from the upcoming animation, The Faceless Ones
  • World-first look at an exclusive clip from The Faceless Ones
  • World-first announcement of a new animation with a clip!

The Faceless Ones will be the next animation, expected in 2020. This follows a number of successful projects including The Power of the Daleks, Shada, and The Macra Terror.

The panel will be held on Sunday 27th October 2019, so we don’t have to wait too long at all.

What do you hope it’ll be? The Evil of the Daleks? Time for a First Doctor story? How about Marco Polo then? And how glorious would it be if the remake of Mission to the Unknown is released on DVD and Blu-ray alongside the 12-part epic, The Daleks’ Master Plan?!
