What Did You Think of Doctor Who: Orphan 55?

There’s trouble a-brewing at Tranquility Spa, that infamuos enemy of spellchecker. Seriously, every time. Except that time; that time, rather ironically, I misspelled “infamous”. No, really, I did – look. Anyway, trouble at Tranquility. That was Orphan 55, the second story of Doctor Who Series 12, and the first single-part tale of the run (although there are plenty more lined up).

It was also the second Doctor Who tale by Ed Hime, who penned last year’s It Takes You Away. So how did Orphan 55 compare? Fewer frogs, yes, but what was the cinematography like? How’s Jodie Whittaker’s Thirteenth Doctor faring? What about her “fam”?

How about voting in our poll, so we can see the general consensus from DWC readers?

And once you’ve done that, we’d love to hear more. What worked? What didn’t? Are you hyped for next week’s episode, Nikola Tesla’s Night of Terror? Let us know in the comments section below!
