David Tennant and Catherine Tate to Join in The Stolen Earth/ Journey’s End Tweet-Along Rewatch

David Tennant, Catherine Tate, Freema Agyeman, John Barrowman, Russell T Davies, and Graeme Harper will all be tweeting along to the next internal rewatch, The Stolen Earth/ Journey’s End, which takes place tonight (19th April 2020)!

While Russell took part in the Rose rewatch, this is the first time David Tennant, Catherine Tate, and Graeme Harper have been on Twitter.

Organised by Doctor Who Magazine‘s Emily Cook, these events involve fans all around the world watching Doctor Who episodes at the same time and tweeting their thoughts using special hashtags; meanwhile, cast and crew are getting involved too, sharing behind-the-scenes secrets and memories.

Previous watch-alongs have included Vincent and the Doctor, The Day of the Doctor, and Heaven Sent. The Stolen Earth/ Journey’s End is the first to feature the Tenth Doctor.

The rewatch will be accompanied by a very special episode of The Sarah Jane Adventures, titled Farewell, Sarah Jane, written by Davies. It’ll be released at 5pm tonight, the anniversary of Elisabeth Sladen’s passing in 2011.

The Stolen Earth/ Journey’s End was the Series 4 finale which aired in 2008 and featured a smorgasbord of characters from across Davies’ time as showrunner.

The watch-along starts at 7pm with The Stolen Earth tonight (Sunday 19th April 2020). Use the hashtag #SubwaveNetwork to take part too.
