Time Lord Victorious, the new Doctor Who multi-media storyline which takes the Doctor back to the Dark Times, the early days of the universe, launches in September – and we’ve a timeline which shows when each part of the plot is released.
The event spans different platforms, including novels, audio adventures (on CD and vinyl), and comics, while tie-in material is also available from Hero Collector (with some fantastic Dalek and Doctor figurines) and Escape Hunt, the Escape Room company which has revealed A Dalek Awakens, the opening gambit for Time Lord Victorious.
You don’t need to get every tie-in media instalment to understand the story: you can stick to one platform or one Doctor (the narrative primarily covers the Eighth, Ninth, and Tenth Doctors) and still enjoy a segment of the tale without knowing the overall plot.

Okay, so it’s only “useful” is you’re not colour blind. I am, and this is all kinds of confusing.
James Goss, Producer, said:
“BBC Studios’ Doctor Who licensees have come together to tell an amazing epic – one that’s full of monsters, fun and heart. All strands of the story unite into a mighty patchwork that ranges from one end of the universe to the next. There’s more to be revealed, but the enthusiasm and ideas which the licensees have come up with are breath-taking. It’s going to be such fun.”
Time Lord Victorious begins in early September, and continues into 2021.
