Our First Full Scene from the Doctor Who Christmas Special: Listen to The Goblin Song Now

The BBC has released a scene from this year’s Christmas special, The Church on Ruby Road — and it’s something to make quite a song and dance about.

It’s The Goblin Song, a dark yet goofy tune in which a host of grim-looking baddies prepare to eat children! And while it’s a bit insane, that’s what Doctor Who does best, isn’t it?

Oh, and all the money raised by it will go to the charity fundraiser, Children in Need.

The song is written by Murray Gold, with Christina Rotondo providing the lead vocals.

We also see some more of the Fifteenth Doctor, Ncuti Gatwa, plus new companion, Rudy Sunday, played by Millie Gibson.

This is the first episode of Doctor Who to air on Christmas Day since Twice Upon a Time, Peter Capaldi’s swansong special, in 2017.

The Goblin Song is available from SpotifyApple Music and Deezer right now.

The Church on Ruby Road will air on BBC1 and stream on Disney+ on 25th December 2023.
