Coming Soon: Mark Strickson Returns as Turlough — with Colin Baker’s Sixth Doctor!

Mark Strickson is returning to the role of Vislor Turlough for Big Finish’s Doctor Who later this year — this time, paired up with Colin Baker’s Sixth Doctor!

The Sixth Doctor Adventures: Reunion is due out in August 2026 and sees the trio visit London in the swinging Sixties and a planet hiding a dark secret. And in the third episode, Turlough finally returns to his home planet, Trion.

Having been previously exiled from Trion, as mentioned in Planet of Fire, this is a big moment for Turlough, and a dangerous one too – the planet is under occupation by the brutal Avokan forces. Turlough wants to liberate his people, but the Doctor soon discovers that his old companion may be as untrustworthy as ever.

Here’s what to expect:

Save the Date by Matthew Sweet

London, 1969, and the Eternal Joy dating agency has a new secretary: Miss Perpugilliam Brown.

Peri’s undercover. Her mission: to find the source of the sonic boom that rang out across London, discover the secrets of Eternal Joy’s big pink computer… and set the Doctor and Turlough up on a double date with two young ladies.

Poison’s Reach by Paul Sutton

The civilisation of Freefall is powered by a natural radiation stream rising from its moon. That’s the official story.

Engineer Sandra Silva knows the truth. She’s determined to expose the Stelta Corporation’s crimes, and she has a trio of time-travelling sightseers on her side.

Turlough is about to learn that, to achieve a worthy aim, sometimes the ultimate sacrifice has to be made…

Broken Home by AK Benedict & Guy Adams

Once a traitor, always a traitor?

Vislor Turlough returns to Trion at last – and promptly hands the Doctor and Peri over to the occupying forces.

Has Turlough learned any lessons from the Time Lord he was once tasked with killing? And in order to liberate his broken home, who is he willing to sacrifice?

Script editor Robert Valentine said:

“The Doctor, Peri, and Turlough are back, but they’re hurtling towards a parting of the ways. Turlough is facing the greatest dilemma of his life, and his recent travels with Peri and the Doctor are making him realise that he’ll soon have to make a decision about his future. In Reunion you’ll encounter love, death, war… and an epic showdown on a planet called Trion.”

The Sixth Doctor Adventures: Reunion is available to pre-order now for £19.99 (download to own) or £24.99 (download to own and on collector’s edition CD).
