Coming to an audio player near you soon — and on CD! — is the Doctor Who 60th Anniversary Specials soundtrack, a collection of original music from Murray Gold.

Inevitably, the collection lands on 23rd November!

Music from the three Doctor Who 60th anniversary episodes, The Star Beast, Wild Blue Yonder, and The Giggle comprise this collection, which you’ll be able to buy in digital form on “Doctor Who Day 2026.” A triple CD collection will be released on 27th November.

Composer Murray Gold says: “On this album is a record of all the music that went into that transitioning series between the return of Doctor Who with David Tennant and Catherine Tate in 2023.”

The collection takes the show’s soundtrack up to the first season of Ncuti Gatwa’s Fifteenth Doctor, which you will recall that began on Christmas Day 2023.

You can listen to exclusive preview below of “Just Like the Old Days” from The Star Beast below.

Composer Murray Gold — who returned to the series to reunite with showrunner Russell T Davies — describes the release as “a pretty exhaustive volume.” Keep reading to see what he means…
