The Witchfinders Consolidated Ratings

Doctor Who suffered a slight drop in ratings for The Witchfinders last week according to the Broadcasting Research Audience Board (BARB).

The episode was watched by 7.21 million, making it the 17th most watched programme of the week ending 18th November 2018.

7.03 million watched on a conventional TV, while an additional 78,000 watched on their PC, 57,000 watched on a tablet, and 48,000 on a smartphone. This is a small decrease from the week before, when Kerblam! achieved 7.46 million. Sadly, this means that every episode of Series 11 has seen a fall in ratings; fortunately, though It Takes You Away will likely befall a similar fate, ratings are sure to increase for this week’s finale, The Battle of Ranskoor Av Kolos.

Pleasingly, however, The Witchfinders had an Appreciation Index score of 81, as did Kerblam!, which is a decent score.

The most watched show of the week was Monday’s edition of I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!, which was seen by 13.14 million people. The show includes John Barrowman, who played Captain Jack Harkness alongside the Ninth and Tenth Doctors.
