Showmasters have announced that the Ninth Doctor, Christopher Eccleston, will be appearing at the London Film & Comic Con this July. Christopher’s been busy since leaving Who 14 years ago, appearing in Thor: The Dark World; G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra’ BBC drama, The A Word; HBO’s The Leftovers;, and starring in the Royal Shakespeare Company’s 2018 production of Macbeth.
The LFCC will boast dozens of TV, film, and comic book stars, with a host of photo shoots, panels, autograph sessions, and hundreds of stalls. As well as Christopher, the LFCC will be of wider interest to Who fans, as other guests booked include Sylvester McCoy and Sophie Aldred, Colin Baker and Nicola Bryant, Peter Purves, Bernard Cribbins, Jenna Coleman, and Johns Leeson, Levene, and Barrowman.
The LFCC will take place at London’s Olympia Exhibition Centre in West Kensington during July 26th – 28th, but if you’re keen to meet Christopher himself, make a note that he’ll only be there on Saturday 27th. An eclectic palette of non-Who bookings include Robert Carlyle, Charles Dance, William Shatner, Shazad Latif, Billy Dee Williams, and the twin girls from The Shining.
