The next group Doctor Who tweet-along happens tonight, and, alongside the recently-announced Neil Gaiman, Michael Sheen and Richard Clark will also be taking part in the international rewatch of The Doctor’s Wife.
This modern classic from Series 6 stars Matt Smith’s Eleventh Doctor and is written by Gaiman, whose previous work includes the novels, Stardust, American Gods, and, with Terry Pratchett, Good Omens. It was also the Doctor Who debut of Michael Sheen, who plays the antagonist, House, a sentient planetoid situated just outside our universe.
The Doctor’s Wife is the penultimate episode – so far – directed by Richard Clark, who had helmed Gridlock and The Lazarus Experiment.
These rewatches have been organised by Emily Cook. The tweet-alongs, which mean fans across the globe watch an episode at the same time and tweet their thoughts (while learning behind-the-scenes details from cast and crew), began with The Day of the Doctor, and continued with Rose, The Eleventh Hour, and Vincent and the Doctor.
If you’d like to take part in tonight’s rewatch (that’s Saturday 11th April 2020), load the episode and press play at 8pm BST. Use the hashtag #BiggerOnTheInside.
